10.3.2. Removal and power shaft installation

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At presence remove from a wheel a cap, then ослабьте bolts of fastening of a forward wheel. 2. Tighten a manual brake, lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. 3. Remove a forward wheel. 4. Take шплинт fixings of a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave. 5. Loosen the a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave for what fix a nave from проворачивания, having screwed in in it two bolts of fastening of a wheel and having inserted between bolts a steel core. 6. Unscrew a nut and remove a washer from a power shaft. 7. Take шплинт, then unscrew корончатую a nut of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever to a rotary fist. 8. Take a power shaft from a transmission, for this purpose insert between an internal SHRUS and картером transmissions mount and when the assistant will pull a wheel nave outside, strong sharp blow on the mount end beat out a power shaft from gearing in a semiaxial gear wheel of differential. 9. For extraction of a power shaft from a transmission it is possible to use independently made tool. 10. Using a soft wire, tie up the internal end of a power shaft to a car body. 11. On models with an automatic transmission for extraction of the right power shaft it is necessary to use выколотку, made of soft metal and established on картер differential. 12. After clearing of a lock ring take an internal SHRUS of a power shaft from a transmission. 13. At power shaft removal establish under a transmission the container for gathering of the oil which have flowed out from a transmission. 14. Instead of the taken power shaft insert into a transmission plastic or wooden заглушки. 15. Take the external end of a power shaft from a nave. 16. If the power shaft densely sits in a nave, temporarily screw a nut of a nave and, using a hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave. 17. In no event it is impossible to lower the car on wheels with removed by two or one power shafts as it will lead to damage of bearings of a wheel.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before power shaft installation check up a condition of a sealing ring of a power shaft in a transmission. 2. Remove a lock ring (it is specified by arrows) from the internal end of a power shaft. 3. Establish a new lock ring (it is specified by an arrow). 4. Clear шлицы for a power shaft in a nave and a transmission. 5. Grease with a thin layer of greasing working edges of a sealing ring, шлицы a power shaft and flanges. 6. Combine internal шлицы a power shaft with шлицами in a nave and insert a power shaft into a nave. 7. Establish on a power shaft a new washer and by hand screw a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave. 8. Establish a power shaft in differential, having combined шлицы a power shaft with flutes of semiaxial gear wheels of differential. 9. Insert a power shaft into a transmission against the stop. 10. Insert a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever into a rotary fist and fix a nut. 11. Tighten a nut the demanded moment and fix from unscrewing шплинтом. 12. Tighten a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave the demanded moment and fix from unscrewing new шплинтом. 13. If шплинт it is impossible to establish because of несоосности an aperture and grooves in a nut, tighten a nut before their nearest combination. 14. If гаситель fluctuations it is established on a new power shaft he is necessary for establishing on the same place or according to drawing (And – distance = 260 mm, In – a protective cover of the external hinge of equal angular speeds). 15. Establish a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment. 16. Establish a wheel cap. 17. Check up oil level in a transmission and, if necessary, finish it to norm.
