The system of injection of fuel Motronic is an incorporated system of ignition and fuel injection. Idling turns cope the valve which changes quantity of air submitted to detour throttle заслонки. The valve copes block ECU, adjustment of turns of idling is impossible.
The corner of an advancing of ignition is established by block ECU depending on turns of the engine and loading, temperature of the engine and temperature of air arriving in the engine. The information on engine turns arrives in the block of management from the inductive gauge fixed sideways of the block of cylinders of the engine. About the gauge pass the pins fixed on a counterbalance of a cranked shaft about the piston of the first cylinder. At passage of pins about the gauge in the gauge there is an electric impulse which is transferred to the management block.
On models with 8th valves till 1990 the system of injection of fuel Motronic ML4.1 was established. The system of injection of fuel is similar to system of injection of fuel LE/L3 – Jetronic which were established on l model 1,8. The management block is located behind furnish in deepening for feet of the driver.
On models with 8th valves since 1990 the system of injection of fuel Motronic М1.5 was established. In system of injection of fuel the consecutive system of injection is used, at which atomizers inject fuel in pairs, instead of simultaneously, as on earlier used system of injection of fuel. The fuel pump is located in a fuel tank, instead of established near to a fuel tank.
On models with 16th valves the system of injection of fuel Motronic М2.5 was established. One of the most essential differences of this system consists in a method of measurement of quantity of air arriving in the engine. The gauge of a stream of air represents a wire which is energised. The gauge sends constantly changing signal of pressure corresponding to weight of air, passing in the engine.
On the basis of signals of the gauge of a detonation the corner of an advancing of ignition is regulated and thus there is no necessity in заглушке OCTANESого fuel numbers.
In system of injection of fuel М2.5 the consecutive system of injection is used, at which atomizers inject fuel independently from each other. Block ECU operates a fuel atomizer, changing width of an impulse, that is an interval of time, when the atomizer is opened to provide richer or poorer fuel mix.
On all systems of injection of fuel if there is an error in any of the data received from gauges, block ECU enters into a way of the doubler. In this case block ECU ignores a wrong signal of the gauge and accepts preliminary programmed value which allows the engine to continue work, though and with smaller efficiency. If ECU enters into a way of the doubler the alarm system lamp on combinations of devices and damage lights up it will be written down in memory ECU. After that it is necessary to conduct full test of a control system by the engine, using the special electronic diagnostic test bed which simply joins in a diagnostic socket of system.
