Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Merge cooling liquid from system of cooling and remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. |
| L models 1,2 |
| 2. Remove auxiliary приводной a belt. |
|
3. Unscrew 6 bolts and, being careful, remove the water pump. Remove a lining of the water pump. |
| 4. At installation of the new water pump rearrange on it from the old water pump a pulley and the thermostat. |
| 5. Before installation of the water pump clear the rests of an old lining from interfaced surfaces of the water pump and a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 6. Apply a thin film greasings on a new lining and establish it on the water pump. Establish the water pump and fix its 6th bolts, having tightened them gradually and consistently demanded moment. |
| 7. Connect to the pump three hoses and fix their collars. Establish and adjust a tension auxiliary drive a belt. Fill in cooling liquid in system of cooling and connect a weight wire to the accumulator. |
| Models 1,3, 1,4, 1,6, 1,8 and 2,0 l with 8th valves |
| 8. Remove a gear belt and a back casing of a gear belt. |

9. Unscrew three bolts and remove the water pump. Keep in mind that for removal of the water pump generator removal can be demanded. |
| Models 2,0 of l with 16th valves |
10. Remove from the engine following components:
– A gear belt;
– A cover of a head of the block of cylinders;
– Pulleys of camshafts;
– The mechanism of a tension and directing rollers of a gear belt;
– A pulley of a cranked shaft;
– A back casing of a gear belt. |
| 11. Unscrew three bolts and remove the water pump. Clear an installation site of the water pump. |

Installation

| L models 1,2 |
| 1. At installation of the new water pump rearrange on it from the old pump a pulley and the thermostat. |
| 2. Before installation of the water pump clear of the rests of an old lining interfaced surfaces of the water pump and a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 3. Apply a thin film greasings on a new lining and establish it on the water pump. Establish the water pump and fix its 6th bolts, having tightened them gradually and consistently demanded moment. |
| 4. Connect to the pump three hoses and fix their collars. Establish auxiliary приводной a belt and adjust its tension. Fill in cooling liquid in cooling system. |
| Models 1,3, 1,4, 1,6, 1,8 and 2,0 l with 8th valves |
| 5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, taking into account following moments. |

6. At installation of the water pump use a new sealing ring. |
| 7. Check up that interfaced surfaces of the water pump and the block of cylinders pure and dry, and grease a sealing ring of the pump with silicone greasing or vaseline. It will prevent corrosion of interfaced surfaces between the pump and the block of cylinders and will facilitate moving of the water pump at adjustment of a tension of a gear belt. |
| 8. Establish a gear belt and adjust its tension then tighten bolts of fastening of the water pump the demanded moment. |
| 9. Fill in cooling liquid and adjust a tension auxiliary drive a generator belt. |
| Models 2,0 of l with 16th valves |
| 10. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Thus it is necessary to establish a new sealing ring and to tighten bolts of fastening of the water pump the demanded moment. Fill in cooling liquid in cooling system. |
