8.1.5. Check, removal and condenser installation

THE GENERAL DATA

The condenser is intended for reduction искрения between breaker contacts.

The condenser is connected in parallel breaker contacts. At a condenser exit ignition admissions are out of operation possible.
Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If work of the engine after runaway of several kilometres is broken and there is strong обгорание breaker contacts, that, probably, the condenser is faulty.

2. The further check can be made, disconnecting manually contacts of the breaker to the included ignition.

3. Presence of a strong spark between contacts specifies in condenser failure.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Unscrew screws, fastening a cover of the distributor of ignition, and uncover also a distributor rotor.

2. Move a spring of the lever of contacts of the breaker from a plastic insulator and disconnect condenser wires.

3. Unscrew the screw, крепящий the condenser to a basic plate of the distributor of ignition, and remove it.

4. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
