8.1.6.1. Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Mark and disconnect high-voltage wires from spark plugs. 2. Unscrew spark plugs. 3. Unscrew screws, fastening a cover of the distributor of ignition, uncover and move it aside. 4. With the released manual brake and the included transfer close an aperture for a candle of the first cylinder a finger and move the car forward to those, yet will not feel compression in the first cylinder. 5. Move the car further before label combination (it is specified by an arrow) on a pulley of a cranked shaft with the index on a cover. 6. Thus the distributor rotor should be combined with a label on the case of the distributor of ignition. 7. Disconnect from the ignition distributor an electric socket and a vacuum tube from a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition. 8. Unscrew a bolt, крепящий a tightening lath of the distributor of ignition, remove a bolt, a tightening lath and the ignition distributor.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up that the adjusting label on a pulley of a cranked shaft is combined with the index. 2. At installation of the distributor of ignition, the distributor shaft will slightly turn counter-clockwise at connection of gear wheels. 3. After installation check up correctness of position of the distributor of ignition, thus a distributor rotor it should be combined with a label on the case of the distributor of ignition. 4. Before installation turn a shaft of the distributor of ignition so that the distributor rotor has been directed to a sealing ring of wires of the distributor of ignition (And – a sealing ring of wires, In – a label of combination N1). At installation of the distributor of ignition the rotor will be established in correct position. 5. Also it is necessary to turn a power shaft of the oil pump in such position that shaft ledges were combined with a groove in a shaft of the distributor of ignition. Turn a shaft so that ledges settled down at an angle 90 ° to an axis of a cranked shaft. 6. Check up correctness of an arrangement of a sealing ring of round section in the basis of the distributor of ignition and establish the ignition distributor into place. 7. For correct installation of the distributor of ignition, probably, it is required to make this operation some times. 8. After installation of the distributor of ignition into place turn the case of the distributor of ignition clockwise on some degrees so that breaker contacts have become isolated, then slowly turn it counter-clockwise till the moment of the beginning of disconnection of contacts. 9. In this position of the distributor of ignition establish a tightening lath and fix its bolt. 10. Connect to the ignition distributor an electric socket and a tube of vacuum correction. 11. Screw in spark plugs, establish a cover of the distributor of ignition and high-voltage wires. 12. Adjust a corner of an advancing of ignition.
