Adjustment of a tension of a gear belt make on the cold engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Adjustment with use of special tool Opel KM-666

1. Remove a casing of a gear belt and, having weakened a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension, check up that labels ВМТ on pulleys of a camshaft and a cranked shaft have been combined with indexes. If necessary tighten a cranked shaft that labels were combined.

2. According to the instruction establish special tool KM-666 on an arm of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension

3. Note the seventh tooth, considering counter-clockwise from label ВМТ on a pulley of the camshaft operating final valves.

4. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine clockwise before combination of noted tooth with the index of the top dead point on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. Rotate a cranked shaft in regular intervals and smoothly to exclude перескакивание a gear belt on teeths of pulleys. Tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension the demanded moment.

5. Remove the special tool.

6. Remove a casing of a gear belt and, having weakened a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension, check up that labels ВМТ on pulleys of a camshaft and a cranked shaft have been combined with indexes. If necessary tighten a cranked shaft that labels were combined.

7. Turn a pulley of the mechanism of a tension to a gear belt so that in the centre of the longest branch of a belt the belt could be turned on 90 ° hand fingers, putting moderate effort. In the presence of spring scales or a steelyard and a steel ruler check up a deflection of a belt which should make 10 mm under loading of 9 kg.

8. Fix a pulley of the mechanism of a tension in this position and tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley the demanded moment.
9. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine clockwise on two complete revolutions and check up that labels ВМТ on pulleys of a cranked shaft and camshafts were combined with indexes.
10. Establish an external casing of a gear belt. Check up, that rubber sealing rings in apertures under screws have fallen into place, then fix a casing screws.
11. Establish a belt of a drive of the generator and adjust its tension.
13. Establish the air filter.
14. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
15. After adjustment of a tension of a gear belt at the first possibility address on servicing deport for carrying out of adjustment with use of special tools.
16. The further installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
