Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At presence remove a wheel cap, then ослабьте bolts of fastening of a back wheel.

2. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.

3. Remove a back wheel.

4. Release a manual brake.

5. Unscrew the screw of fastening of a brake drum and remove a brake drum.

6. If the brake drum is kept brake колодками, remove заглушку from an aperture in a brake board and, using a screw-driver, move a control lever of a manual brake to brake колодке that brake Pads have departed from a drum.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Being careful, clear an internal surface of a brake drum of a brake dust and a dirt.

2. Clear an external surface of a brake drum and check up on obvious signs of deterioration or damage, and also presence of cracks round apertures under bolts of fastening of a wheel.

3. If necessary replace a drum.

4. Check up an internal part of a brake drum. Insignificant development of a drum from action brake колодок is the normal phenomenon. The drum repoint is not recommended.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At installation of a new brake drum remove from its surface a sheeting layer.

2. Check up and, if necessary, clear interfaced surfaces of a brake drum and a nave.

3. Reduce length of an adjusting lath brake колодок, rotating an adjusting wheel of a lath.

4. Establish a brake drum and fix its screw.

5. Some times press a brake pedal to put in action the mechanism of adjustment of a backlash brake колодок.

6. If necessary adjust a manual brake.

7. Establish a wheel and lower the car.

8. Tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
