6.1.17. Removal and installation of a heater of an inlet collector

THE GENERAL DATA

The electric heater of an inlet collector is established on models with the engine 16 SH with an automatic transmission.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.

2. Disconnect from a heater an electric socket.

3. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a heater to an inlet collector, then move a heater downwards and remove it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Check up, that interfaced surfaces of a heater and an inlet collector were pure, and use a new sealing ring.
