6.1.2. Use unleaded gasoline
THE GENERAL DATA

The fuel recommended to use, is specified in subsection 6.1.1.

Standard high-quality grades of fuel are suitable. Quality of fuel considerably influences capacity, a kind of work and engine service life. Great value additives (additive) added to fuel thus have, therefore fill only qualitative grades of fuel with additives.

Use of fuel with insufficient value OCTANESого numbers can lead to the knocks caused by early installation of ignition.

Fuel with higher OCTANESым number can be applied in any cases. At cars in which fuel tank it is necessary to fill Unleaded gasoline, it is impossible to insert into a bulk mouth of a fuel tank a pistol топливораздаточной columns with этилированным gasoline.

The designation of fuel RON and MON is defined by standards of tests. RON defines research OCTANESое number while MON defines OCTANESое engine number.

If the car is maintained on неleaded gasoline 95 (RON), it is necessary to execute following actions to avoid a detonation in engine cylinders.

L MODELS 1,2

On models 1,2 of the l made till February, 1985 it is possible to use Unleaded gasoline, but on each five refuellings unleaded gasoline it is necessary to make one refuelling этилированным gasoline.

For operation of later models on неleaded gasoline 95 (RON) it is necessary to reduce a corner of an advancing of ignition on 3 °.

L MODELS 1,3

On models with engines 13 N and 13 NB use unleaded gasoline 95 (RON) without restrictions is supposed.

For use unleaded gasoline 95 (RON) on models with engines 13 SC it is necessary to reduce a corner of an advancing of ignition on 3 °.

L MODELS 1,4

On all models it can be used Unleaded gasoline 95 (RON) without restrictions.

L MODELS 1,6

At use unleaded gasoline 95 (RON) on models with engines 16 SH it is necessary to reduce a corner of an advancing of ignition on 3 °. On later models with the engine 16 SV there is a switch OCTANESого fuel numbers.

The switch is located from the right forward party of a motor compartment and at factory is established on fuel 98 (RON). For change OCTANESого fuel numbers release a clamp, take and turn on 180 ° the switch and establish it on the place. Established by the switch OCTANESое the fuel number is visible on the switch.
