The prevention

If the carburettor demands major repairs, economically it is more favourable to replace the carburettor. It is usually necessary to assort the carburettor for clearing of jets and carburettor channels.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the carburettor from the engine. 2. Using suitable solvent or gasoline, clear an external surface of the carburettor and dry up it. Prepare a pure workplace. 3. Remove a returnable spring throttle заслонки from draught and an arm sideways the carburettor. 4. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a branch pipe of the vacuum chamber located on the case throttle заслонок. 5. Unscrew 4 screws (are specified by arrows) fastenings of a cover of the carburettor. 6. Uncover the carburettor the carburettor. 7. In the carburettor basis unscrew the screw (it is specified by an arrow), крепящий the case air заслонки to the case поплавковой chambers, and divide cases. 8. Unscrew the screw, крепящий an arm of support of a cable of management air заслонкой to the case air заслонки and remove it (fig. the Arrangement of the screw of fastening of an arm of support of a cable of management air заслонкой, заглушки, the screw of adjustment of quality of a mix and idling turns see). Release a clamp and take from a casing a sealing ring. 9. Screw in against the stop screws of adjustment of quality of a fuel mix and idling turns, but thus count quantity of turns of screws, then unscrew screws completely. 10. Unscrew four screws and uncover diaphragms of the accelerating pump and a spring the case поплавковой chambers. 11. On the other hand cases поплавковой chambers unscrew three screws and uncover diaphragms of the mechanism of enrichment and a spring. 12. Take a spray from a casing. 13. Using выколотку, beat out a rotary axis of floats (it is specified by arrows) and, using flat-nose pliers, take it from a nest. 14. Remove floats and a lining of a cover of the carburettor. 15. Remove the needle valve of the carburettor, then unscrew the main jet (it is specified by an arrow). 16. Note an arrangement and unscrew all jets and заглушки from a carburettor cover (fig. the Arrangement in a carburettor cover заглушек, a jet of idling, an additional air jet and a jet of a fuel mix see). Unscrew эмульсионную a tube from an aperture of an additional air jet. 17. Take from диффузора the main spray. 18. Unscrew a stopper and take the fuel filter located adjacently with a branch pipe of giving of fuel. 19. If necessary remove from the top cover of the carburettor the vacuum chamber together with the draught operating air заслонкой. 20. Remove a cam and a spring, disconnect draught from a cam and the lever of a drive air заслонки and remove knot in gathering (And – draught screws заслонки, In – spring скобы). 21. Clear carburettor details in gasoline and blow their compressed air. 22. Blow compressed air all jets and channels in the carburettor, but thus do not use a wire. 23. Check up a condition of all axes and draughts on presence of deterioration and the increased backlash. In the presence of defects replace the worn out details. 24. Check up a condition of diaphragms and replace them in the presence of punctures and pollution. 25. Check up a condition and tightness of a float. If in a float there is a fuel, replace it. 26. Blowing the needle valve, check up its tightness in the closed position. In the absence of tightness replace the needle valve. 27. Collect the carburettor in sequence, return dismantling, and make the basic adjustments of the carburettor. 28. Check up height of installation of a float and, if necessary, turning in the lever, establish the demanded height (And – a place of measurement of height of installation of a float, In – a place for adjustment of height of installation of a float). 29. Establish the carburettor on the car and adjust turns of idling and quality of a fuel mix.
