8.2. Adjustment of a pedal of coupling
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure distance from a forward surface of a pedal to a carpet covering. A hand press a pedal of coupling before occurrence of notable resistance and measure free wheeling size.

Free wheeling of a pedal of coupling: 1–3 mm
2. If the free wheeling of a pedal of coupling does not correspond to demanded value, adjust it as follows:

ослабьте a counternut and, rotating a bolt, adjust a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, then tighten a counternut;

The prevention

After adjustment tighten a bolt while it will not reach a pedal emphasis, then tighten a counternut.


– Rotate a pusher before achievement of a demanded free wheeling, then tighten a counternut.

The prevention

At adjustment of height of installation or a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling be cautious not to move a pusher to the main cylinder of coupling.


3. After end of adjustments check up that the distance from a pedal of coupling to a floor at the pressed pedal corresponds to demanded value.

Free wheeling of a pedal of coupling (): 1–3 mm
Distance from a pedal of coupling to a floor at the pressed pedal (): 90 mm

4. If it is impossible to adjust height of installation and a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, it is possible in hydraulic system of a drive of coupling there is air or the main cylinder of coupling is faulty. In this case remove air or disassemble and check up the main cylinder of coupling.

PROROLLING OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM OF THE DRIVE OF COUPLING


Any hydraulic system works normally if air is removed from it.
The prevention

During air removal add only the pure liquid recommended by the manufacturer.
The liquid used in a hydraulic drive, dissolves a paint and plastic, therefore at liquid hit on a paint and varnish covering of the car wash out its considerable quantity of water.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Ослабьте the union of prorolling also attach to it a hose. Arrange other end of a hose in glass capacity of sufficient volume.
2. Slowly press a coupling pedal.
3. At the pressed pedal of coupling ослабьте the union of prorolling also let the air out from hydraulic system. Tighten the union of prorolling and release a coupling pedal.
4. Repeat operations until there will be a brake liquid without air vials.

The prevention

Fast repeated pressing of a pedal of coupling in the field of B–C can lead to an exit of a pusher from the case of the cylinder of coupling during prorolling. To press a coupling pedal it is necessary only after its return to the top position ().



CONDUCTED AND PRESS COUPLING DISKS

Coupling

1 – a plug of deenergizing of coupling;
2 – the bearing of deenergizing of coupling;
3 – a bolt, 15–22 Н•м;
4 – press a coupling disk;
5 – a conducted disk of coupling.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge oil from a transmission and a brake liquid from a hydraulic drive of coupling.
2. Remove a transmission.
3. Establish оправку 09411-11000для centerings of a disk of coupling which in this case will exclude falling of a conducted disk of coupling.
4. Gradually on a diagonal ослабьте bolts of fastening of coupling in gathering, turning each bolt on? A turn until action диафрагменной springs will stop, and bolts can be unscrewed manually. Remove a casing of coupling with a press disk and a coupling disk.

The prevention

Do not clear solvent a disk of coupling or the bearing of deenergizing of coupling.
It is desirable to remove a flywheel and to check up a back sealing ring of a cranked shaft on absence of leaks. If necessary, replace a sealing ring.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check up диафрагменную a spring in places of contact to the bearing of deenergizing of coupling on absence of deterioration, cracks and define distinction of height of the ends диафрагменной springs. In the presence of defects replace a casing of coupling with a press disk.

Distinction of height of the ends диафрагменной springs: 0,5 mm
2. Check up press a disk on absence of cracks, пригара and deterioration of a surface.
3. Check up reliability заклепочных connections.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check up reliability заклепочных connections of frictional overlays to a coupling disk. In the presence of defects replace a coupling disk.
2. Check up выступание frictional overlays over heads of rivets. If выступание less admissible, replace a coupling disk.

Выступание: 1,1 mm

3. Check up a condition of frictional overlays of a disk of coupling and at presence with them of traces of oil or mechanical damages replace a coupling disk.
4. Clear шлицы a primary shaft of a transmission and establish on a shaft a coupling disk. If the coupling disk moves on a shaft hardly or too big backlash in шлицевом connection, replace a disk of coupling and / or an entrance shaft.

Check of the bearing of deenergizing of coupling
The prevention

The bearing of deenergizing of coupling is tight, and it cannot be washed out.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check up a condition of the bearing of deenergizing of coupling which should rotate easily, in regular intervals and silently and in it should be absent люфт. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring, should be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development.
2. The faulty bearing of deenergizing of coupling can be defined, without removing it from the car for what it is necessary to press a coupling pedal at the working engine. If by pressing of a pedal of coupling there is an additional noise, means, the bearing of deenergizing of coupling is faulty, and it is necessary to replace it.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
If there is a non-uniform deterioration in points of contact of a plug of deenergizing of coupling with the bearing, replace a plug of deenergizing of coupling.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put greasing on surfaces of contact of the bearing, the cylinder and a plug of deenergizing of coupling.

The prevention

At coupling installation put greasing on all mobile connections of details, but do not use excessive quantity of greasing as it can lead to coupling proslipping.


2. Put greasing in deepening of the bearing of deenergizing of coupling.

3. Put greasing on surfaces of contact of a support of a plug of deenergizing of coupling.

4. A fine-grained emery paper clear surfaces of a flywheel and a press disk and be convinced that all abrasive material and greasing are removed from the cleared surfaces.
5. Put greasing on шлицы a disk of coupling and a primary shaft of a transmission.

6. Establish a disk of coupling and centre its special оправкой 09411-11000. At installation of a disk of coupling the surface of the disk having marks, should settle down from outside a press disk.
7. Establish a casing of coupling with a press disk on directing pins of a flywheel.
8. Gradually, in diagonal sequence and in a certain order, tighten bolts of fastening of a flywheel.

The inhaling moment: 15–22Нм

9. Remove оправку, aligning a coupling disk.
10. Establish a transmission.
11. Adjust a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling.
