On the engine, heated-up to normal working temperature, at the pedal of an accelerator established in a starting position, there should not be a backlash between a control lever of the accelerating pump and плунжером the pump.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Ask the assistant to press an accelerator pedal against the stop and to keep it in this position. A screw-driver press on плунжер the pump and check up that it can move further down to occurrence of notable resistance. |
| 2. If necessary turn in a control lever of the accelerating pump. |
| 3. Check up that by pressing плунжера the pump in the carburettor the fuel stream moves. Otherwise remove and clear the carburettor and, if necessary, replace details of the accelerating pump. |
