12.3. Replacement of the bearing of a forward wheel

THE GENERAL DATA

Arrangement of the bearing of a nave of a forward wheel

And – an external lock ring of the bearing, In – an internal lock ring of the bearing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a rack of a forward suspension bracket together with a rotary fist. 2. Unscrew the screw and remove from a nave a brake disk. 3. For extraction of a nave from a rotary fist use a press and tubular оправку the corresponding diameter. Alternatively arrange two steel cores between a nave and a rotary fist and, screwing in two bolts of fastening of a wheel (drawing at the left), take a nave from a rotary fist (drawing on the right). 4. Unscrew bolts and remove a protective board of a brake disk from a rotary fist. 5. Remove from a rotary fist lock rings, fastening an external ring of the bearing. Опирая an internal part of a rotary fist on supports and using tubular оправку the corresponding diameter, squeeze out an external ring of the bearing from a rotary fist. 6. Using a stripper, remove an internal ring of the bearing from a nave. 7. Clear a nave and a rotary fist of a dirt and greasing. Establish an external lock ring of fastening of the bearing. Keep in mind that uvulas of a lock ring should be turned to the basis of a rotary fist. 8. Reliably fix a rotary fist on supports and establish on it the bearing. Bearing installation make with use tubular оправки which should press on an external ring of the bearing. The bearing establish against the stop it in an external lock ring. 9. Establish an internal lock ring of the bearing that uvulas of a lock ring have been turned to the basis of a rotary fist. 10. Establish a protective board of a brake disk. 11. Establish a nave in the bearing, thus use tubular оправку which presses on an internal ring of the bearing. Запрессовку naves in the bearing can be made with use of a long bolt, a nut and washers of the corresponding diameter. 12. Establish a brake disk. 13. Establish a rack of a forward suspension bracket with a rotary fist on the car.
