6.18. Check and starting arrangement adjustment Check conditions

The temperature of a cooling liquid should be 80-95°C.

Headlights, the electric fan of a radiator and all electric consumers should be switched off.

The transmission should be established in neutral position.

On cars with the steering amplifier forward wheels should be established for movement directly forward.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start up the engine and leave it to work on frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft idling.
2. Open throttle заслонку to a draught full speed while the free lever will not contact with SAS-3.
3. Close throttle заслонку before contact SAS-2 and the free lever and during this moment check up frequency of rotation.
4. If necessary adjust the starting arrangement, rotating screw SAS-3.
5. Separate the free lever and then check up that frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine slowly comes back to frequency of rotation of idling.
