Positions of the lever of switching of modes by an automatic transmission

Highly effective automatic transmission ХЁНДЭ has four transfers for advance and one transfer of a backing. It has the usual scheme of a gear change shown in drawing 117. At night, in the first position of the multipurpose switch on the gear change scheme the indicator will burn corresponding to the chosen range of transfers.
The prevention
During car movement it is impossible to translate the selector lever in position "Р" or "R".

For selector moving it is necessary to press the button, simultaneously pressing a brake pedal.

For selector moving it is necessary to press the button.

For moving of the selector it is not necessary to press the button.

For the maximum economy of fuel, be accelerated smoothly. The automatic transmission will automatically include the second, third and raising transfers.
APPOINTMENTS OF POSITIONS OF THE SELECTOR

"Р" – Parking

Use this position for car keeping on a place during parking or engine start. At a car parking, include a lay brake and translate the selector in position "Р" (Parking).
The prevention
Do not move the selector to position "Р" (Parking) while the car will not be completely stopped. The neglect this rule can lead to breakage of an automatic transmission.

"R" – The Backing:

Use this position for movement by a backing. Translate the selector lever in position "R" (Backing) only after a full stop of the car.
"N" – Neutral position:

In this position of the selector the automatic transmission is disconnected. In this position it is possible to start the engine, however it is not recommended except cases when the engine has decayed during car movement.
"D" – "Movement", the basic transfer:

This position of the lever of the selector of an automatic transmission is the core for movement. The automatic transmission will automatically include one of four transfers, providing the best profitability and capacity. If speed of the car exceeds 95 km/h, never translate the selector in position "2" (the Second transfer) or "L" (Lowering transfer).
"2" – the Second transfer:

Use this position for movement on slippery road, lifting on an abrupt bias and for braking by the engine at descent from an abrupt bias. In this position of the selector, there is an automatic switching between 1st and 2nd transfers. It means that there is no switching on 3rd transfer. However if speed of the car exceeds certain value, there is a switching on 3rd transfer with a view of prevention of excessive dispersal of the engine. Selector transfer in position "D" ("Movement") returns a normal gear change.
"L" – Lowering transfer:

This position of the lever of the selector of an automatic transmission is the core at movement on very abrupt biases and for braking by the engine on low speeds of movement at descent from abrupt biases. At inclusion of lowering transfer "L", a transmission will be temporary to remain in a range of the second transfer while the car will not lower speed till the speed when inclusion of lowering transfer "L" will be possible. At movement in a mode "L" – ("Lowering transfer") do not exceed speed of 50 km/h.
The prevention
For a smooth and safe gear change, while translating the selector of position "N" or "Р" before including transfer, completely squeeze out a brake pedal.
To translate the selector from position "N" or "Р" in any other position, it is necessary to press a brake pedal completely.
You can always translate the selector from position "R", "N", "D", "2", "L" in position "Р".
Translate the selector in position "Р" or "R" only after a full stop of the car.
Do not increase frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine when the selector is in position of transfer of a backing or one of movement positions at the pressed pedal of a brake.
While translating the selector from position "N" or positions "Р" in another positions "Р", "D", "2", or "L" always press a brake pedal.
Do not use position "Р" instead of a lay brake. Always include a lay brake, translate the selector in position "Р" and switch off ignition when you leave the car,
