1.76. Prevention of corrosion and periodic leaving Protection of the car against corrosion

The usual reasons of corrosion

The most usual reasons of occurrence of corrosion on your car it:

– Road salt, a dirt and a moisture collecting under the bottom of the car;

The moisture generates corrosion

The moisture creates conditions for the most intensive occurrence of corrosion. Protect not protected metal surfaces by a sink, polishings and drawings of wax paste. As aluminium is subject to corrosion, give particular attention to aluminium wheel disks in the winter. After driving on the roads covered with salt, carefully wash such wheel disks.

Cleaning of stains
